The U.S. Ambassador in Bern, Scott Miller, visited together with a small delegation the research station and the Sphinx-observatory at Jungfraujoch.
In the library of the research station, the delegation discussed climate and environmental issues. The link between climate change and the transformation of the energy sector was highlighted.

The director of the research station, Prof. Markus Leuenberger, Dr. Martin Gysel from the Paul Scherrer Institute, the custodians Sonja Stöckli and Thomas Furter, as well as researchers on site, showed the delegation the facilities and informed about current research projects.
