HFSJG Board Meeting in Zermatt

On September 8, 2023, the Board meeting of the Foundation HFSJG took place in Zermatt.

Delegates of the member countries and institutions of the Foundation were present, as well as the corresponding members HFSJG.

After the end of the administrative meeting, the guests and accompanying persons listened to an interesting guest lecture by Prof. Willy Benz, President elect of the International Astronomical Union (IAU) and University of Bern, with the title ‘Under one sky’.

On Saturday, September 9, the board members and guests participated in an excursion to the Gornergrat to visit the Stellarium Gornergrat project in the South tower of the Kulmhotel and to listen to various short talks about geology and glaziology on the Belvédère terrace.
